How to choose a crystal singing bowl?

When people go to my website to look at bowls it can feel exciting and sometimes overwhelming. The frequency of colour, crystal and sound is powerful so… where do you begin?

A sense of discomfort can arise if we are searching for information about notes, chakras and alchemical qualities that we thing we should to take into consideration. This can be especially true when something has high monetry value or we have been conditioned with a set of rules we feel we need to adhere to.  Notice that this is the body telling you that your mind isn’t in harmony with your body.

To begin, drop out of the mind to avoid making decision based on what you ‘think’ you or others around you need. Why not begin with your inner knowing, remember that  colour transmits a frequency, an energetic code that our body will respond to and our bodies have ancient wisdom.  So what do you ‘love’ the vision of? Even in this moment, we can have an immediate ‘yes' or ‘no'. If you have a ‘maybe’ just discard this bowl option for now. 

After you have received a yes to one or a few bowls on the website gallery page, I then recommend listening to their voice on the video links (with headphones on and when you have time to not be interrupted) you will get a sense of how the sounds feels in your body. You can write down one or two words that arise whilst listening to the bowls individually if that helps. 

We all experience sound in differently, some sounds will feel light and expansive and other may feel dull or contracting. Sometimes emotions may flow when we hear a crystal sound that is transforming and illuminating our energy. Sometimes a crystal sound might feel grounding, centring or accelerating and sometimes a crystal sound can feel like home. 

Tuning into and following your intuition will be very important when you align to your first Alchemy Bowl. Your intuition will tell you what you need more than anything anyone else or I can tell you.  Even though I am often asked to ‘prescribe’ the bowls for people, a deeper calling I know is to help you to acknowledge your own awesome and innate wisdom, deepen your inner-knowing, uncover and illuminating any untruths in the way. 

The bowls of course have a particular sound, correlate to specific chakras and endocrine points, each move energy in unique ways and have different qualities in the alchemical blend. All of this can be explored after you have found the bowl/s that you are very much drawn too. 

Sometimes we absolutely LOVE all the bowls and feel overwhelm, sometimes we are unsure, hesitate and discover the bowl has aligned with another guardian… just trust… this is a healing journey. Sometimes we see, we know but it goes somewhere else just before we can claim it.. once again just trust this is a healing process, there are no mistakes just opportunities for expansion and love.

Harmony...

To talk about harmony… we need to talk about the space inbetween. This is not a classical harmonic set, it is not a trio in which every note is closer than 15 cent apart, It is outside of what we have been told is right, outside what classical music calls acceptable. 

The deeper truth is that this is three expressions moving into relationship.  It is voice of the stone people gathering. They do not discriminate against one another or harmony, they accept that too. They blend, they find ways to communicate and share and in doing so, they create space for an expansion of love. The movement takes place between their voices, Their voices dance together and create new rhythms and ripples, they move into the corners, under the edges, into the places where difference is no longer a reality. They dance.

They come together because they do… not because the mind decides they should.
