Clear Bowls

Clear bowls have an almost transparent, glass-like appearance due to their purity. People can mistakenly think that they are actually made of glass from their looks. Yet once the bowl is chimed, people know they cannot be glass due to the extraordinary resonant quality. Alchemies ringing many, many times longer than any glass bowl!

According to Crystal Tones®, “Smooth energies flow from clear bowls for releasing and clearing work and can also be helpful in creating harmonious energies in the home.”

The gemstones, or crystals added to these bowls are melted completely with the quartz, producing a pure, clear, high quality energy and sound to their tones.

Opaque bowls

Unlike the clear bowls, these Alchemies are not transparent. The material engineering process is obviously proprietary information and ingredients (gemstone, crystals, rare earths) are either layered on the outside of the bowl, which may seep into the quartz and/or melted with in the quartz.

Alchemies whose surface have been coated with metal often have an iridescent metallic sheen. These currently have the word ‘Aura’ in their name. Possible coatings include, for example, gold, (resulting in a stone called aqua aura), platinum, indium, palladium titanium, and copper, iron. Different techniques are used to fuse metals on the outside and/or inside the bowl.

The quartz of Therapeutic Alchemies is completely covered with one metal. With Advanced or Divine Alchemies, different metals completely cover the quartz.

Alchemy

The original Alchemy Singing Bowls, with blends such as Rose Quartz, Tourmaline, Emerald, Malachite and Amethyst. These bowls have unique blends of one gemstone or mineral and/or metal with quartz. They carry individual energetic vibrations, perfect for unique personal connection, individual purpose and as part of a collection.

Advanced Alchemy

Blends of two and three harmonic gemstone minerals and metals with quartz for an advanced signature of elements and energies. For advanced practice and placement, next level alchemical harmony and high level experience.

Divine Alchemy

Most advanced alchemy available, blends of five to seven precious gemstone minerals and metals blended with quartz to create specific universal energies. Masterpieces for blended harmonic perfection, awakening and alignment.

Super Grade

Crystal Tones® have managed to refine the grade of quartz even further and there is a very small production of Alchemies that are being created in this way. The Alchemy Super Grade bowls are extremely rare and start at around £5,500 each. They are made in sizes 13 inch and 17 inch.

Shapes

- Flat- Phi- Round- Practitioners

Flat

Most Alchemies are made with a flat base. Although care needs to be taken when holding in the hand and playing, the flat base is both practical and stable when playing on a surface or on the floor. Up to the 9 inch bowl generally being the most comfortable size for most adults.

Phi

A shape of Alchemies which are not often made. They look like a ‘flower pot,’ a shape in-between a cone or a cylinder, which in maths is called a frustum of a cone. A frustum is the shape left when its top has been cut off. However, this Alchemy bowl shape is calculated according to Phi - the basis for the Golden Ratio (also called the Golden Section or Golden Mean). The ratio, or proportion, determined by the Phi number (Φ = 1.618033988749895...) was known to the Greeks as “dividing a line in the extreme and mean ratio” and to Renaissance artists as the “Divine Proportion.”

Round bottom

The rounded bottom bowls fit perfectly in the palm of the hand and like the other bowls can be moved in and around the person’s physical and energy bodies. These bowls also have larger o- rings or can sit on a cushion so they can be played upon a flat surface in the same way as the other bowls.

Practitioners

The Practitioner Bowls® are the most practical of the crystal sonic tools that have thus far manifested on the planet. They are lightweight and easy to use - the glass goblet design allows you to comfortably move with them while resonating their wondrous sounds. They are a true gift to assist with sound healing and frequency shifting.”Jonathan Goldman Author of ‘Healing Sounds,’ Composer of ‘Chakra Chants’ quoted from Crystal Tones® 2001.

The practitioner bowls are most often round bottom bowls with a separate crystal rod attached to the bottom of the bowl that is used as the handle. These bowls are hand held and were originally created especially for practitioners for therapeutic use. They allow total free movement of the bowl in and around the person by the practitioner, ensuring greater ease and flexibility. Without hands holding the bowl itself, these bowls sounds vibrate for a long time. This gives the practitioner more flexibility in creating a harmonic therapeutic sound experience.
